Steve Perry - The Band Perry wins Country Music Award 2011

Band Perry won the Artist Award for Top New Academy of Country Music Awards today in Las Vegas. The band members - brothers and sisters, Kimberly Reed and Neil Perry - born in Mississippi and spent his early years in Madison. Their father, Steve Perry, a pediatrician for 11 years Ridgeland.

Their song "If I Die Young " went to number 1 in December.
